About Writing UPF
The University of Psychogenic Fugue took over 4 years to write.
A portion of it written on napkins and matchbook covers while
traveling the country (from Minneapolis to Boston, New Orleans
to New York, even a cruise ship). The book evolved through several
incarnations as the curriculm and campus continued to grow.
About the Authors
UPF was founded by Jeffrey Morrow &
Tye R Farrell, authors of the relatively unknown "Psychogenic
Fugue" humor quizzes, originally published in a not-very-well-read
or edited New Orleans biweekly newspaper. Jeff &Tye have been
hashing out their dry humor since they met in college and started
writing weekly in the campus newspaper (much to the chagrin of
the faculty and Dean of the College). Between the two of them,
they've attended six colleges in four states and received a whopping
two degrees. It was only after dropping out of grad school that
the duo realized their true calling - to establish a new, alternative
University which could help millions begin to heal again.
